Guidelines on dutes and taxes for US Buyers
- Items under $200: As a general rule, if you purchase items valued at under $200, you shouldn't have any trouble importing them.
- Items over $200: If you import items that cost over $200 for personal use (gifts are excluded), you might have to pay a duty, or tax, on the item. The amount of the duty, if any, depends on the type of item and its value.
- Some items can be imported without paying any duty at all. If you purchase goods from non EU countries, Customs Duty and/or Import VAT may be due on entry of the goods to the country concerned
- It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay for any additional Duty.

Guidelines on duties and taxes for EU Buyers
- Goods of £18 ($22 or equivalent in local currency) or less are free from customs duty and import VAT.
- Items specified as gifts with a value of £40 or less will be free from customs duty and import VAT.
- Customs duty becomes payable if the value of the goods is over £135 ($150, or equivalent in local currency) but duty is waived if the amount of duty calculated is less than £9 ($10, or equivalent in local currency).

We use Royal Mail: Parcels will need to be signed for in person. All of our deliveries are insured.
Further Information
Parcels will need to be signed for in person. Please state a delivery address, where someone will be present at the time of delivery (home or work). If no-one is available to receive your item; a card will be left offering you the option to have the item delivered at a later date; or collected from your local post office.
Delivery time is subject to product availability and clearance of payment. Please note, we may need to contact you to carry out security checks – If we are unable to contact you using the phone number given, it may delay your order
International Service
- Delivery to European countries: 4 working days. £18
- International Delivery (outside of Europe): 5-7 working days £25
- Non-EU orders are exclusive of VAT and therefore VAT (20%) is removed from your order at checkout

- Parcels will need to be signed for in person. Please ensure the delivery address is an address where you will be at the time of delivery (home or work). If you are not present at the time of delivery, the Shipping Carrier will leave a calling card and you will be able to reschedule your delivery for a more convenient time.

Returns
EG STUDIO Ventures Ltd Returns Policy
You can return certain items of jewellery for any reason (see specific information on refunds). A Return Authorisation (RA) number must be requested from EG STUDIO Ventures Ltd within 7 days of delivery. Goods being purchased as Christmas presents may be returned no later than 7th January.
Please note that bespoke items, special orders, sized rings and silverware cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded.

Once you have received your RA number, please take care to follow the instructions detailed below. Please note that unauthorised returns/exchanges may be returned to the sender.
We request that all goods being returned from within the UK are returned within 7 days of issuing your RA number.
International returns should be shipped within 7 days of issuing your RA number.
Returns received outside the above time frames are accepted at the discretion of EG STUDIO Ventures Ltd.
EG STUDIO Ventures Ltd will not accept returns for any items that have been worn.
We strongly advise all customers to check their purchase thoroughly upon delivery and before disposing of any original packaging.
In the event of failure to return any item to us within the time limits stated, even though validly cancelled, we reserve the right to charge any costs of recovery of the goods.
Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).
Bespoke items, sized rings, items supplied at a discount, items purchased at a sale price and special order items cannot be exchanged or returned under any circumstance. How to proceed if you would like to return your goods from within the UK
- In order to facilitate the return of your items, you must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number by emailing us at info@elizabethgaltonstudio.com or calling us from the UK on 0845 055 7250 or from overseas on +44 (0)845 055 7250 within 7 days of receiving your order
- All returns for any particular order must be returned in one shipment. Any subsequent returns from the same order may incur additional shipping charges to you
- All items must arrive unworn and in their original condition
- Please complete the Returns Form and enclose it with the item(s) to be returned
- Please place items in the original packaging and ensure the outer box is completely sealed
- We request that returns are shipped to the address given on the Returns Form by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods if you do not return them to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery. You should take your item to a Post Office for return by Royal Mail Special Delivery within 7 days of receiving the RA number. Failure to obtain an RA or to return goods other than via Royal Mail Special Delivery does not affect your statutory rights.

How to proceed if you would like to return your goods from overseas

- All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment
- All items must arrive unworn and in their original condition
- You will be responsible for arranging to have the item returned to us, and for any costs incurred. We would strongly recommend that you use FedEx to return your items to us, as we are not responsible for any items which do not reach us. Please ensure that you write clearly on the FedEx paperwork that the item is being returned, and send to:

How to proceed if you wish to return faulty goods
- In order to return faulty items you must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number by emailing us at info@elizabethgaltonstudio.com and then follow the standard returns process as detailed above
- Faulty items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged, or if there is a subsequent manufacturing fault within a period of 6 months after delivery. All items returned as faulty will be inspected, and any item displaying damage deemed to be a result of fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty
- Where possible, items may be repaired on request but only where such items are deemed faulty and repairable. Repairs do not come with any guarantees
- It may be possible for us to repair items, which have suffered wear and tear. There will be a charge for this service, which is to cover the cost of shipping and any other costs incurred.
Receiving a refund
- Refunds will be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. The cost of any undamaged and unworn products, correctly returned will be credited to the original purchaser's credit card, including sales taxes for all EU country shipments but excluding shipping charges. As previously stated, international customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

You will be charged for any difference in cost, plus any additional shipping, taxes and import duties.
Exchanges received outside of the above stated timescales are also subject to product availability; however, you will incur any shipping costs for such exchanges. Any further returns of exchanged items outside the stated timescales will again be at your cost for the shipping, and refunded only as a credit note.
