Charlotte Sale

Glass artist Charlotte Sale graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2009, which led to the natural progression of setting up her business, Charlotte Sale Glass, from her studio in East London.

Her passion for glass as a creative medium began on the pre BA foundation Course she attended at Wimbledon Art School and continued through her studies at Edinburgh College of Art, where she was awarded a scholarship to Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle. Her fascination with nature, and its patterns and textures, bring about the many designs that she creates today, as you may have seen on BBC2’s ‘Britain’s Next Big Thing’ which showed the journey of her Spritz range in to retail, and the Small Black Spritz bowl is available to buy from elizabethgaltonstudio.com.

Charlotte specialises in the design and production of handcrafted glass pieces. Her skills include glass blowing, kiln forming, lampworking, sandblasting and stained glass. Her emphasis is on a high aesthetic standard and quality finish and therefore her pieces are ideal additions to both home and business environments.
