Gilda's Tryst
Shireen and Amanda launched their luxury jewellery and accessories label Gilda's Tryst in 2009. Co-designers and childhood friends, they grew up together in West London, and were both inspired by London's colourful and glamorous multi-cultural landscape.
Gilda's Tryst William were short-listed for UK 'Catwalk Jewels of the Year Award' 2011.A mutual passion for accessories grew as they did, and after University they dreamed of designing together. While they lacked the funds to make it happen then, the idea burned on and a few years later they made their dream a reality.
Shireen (from a Middle-Eastern background) and Amanda (100% English) have an East- Meets-West aesthetic which is rooted in a very cosmopolitan energy. Their signature style is bold and glamorous, but always wearable; and includes strong statement pieces as well as playful twists on classic vintage designs. All jewellery is made of gemstones, freshwater pearls, silver and gold vermeil.
