Hedone Romane

Jeanne-Marie Chan has worked for Van Cleef & Arpels and LVMH Watches & Jewellery in international strategy development and marketing. Her longstanding desire to share her vision of jewellery marked the beginnings of Hedone Romane in Paris the winter of 2006.

Born in Manila of Cantonese descent, diamonds and rubies are part of her culture and distinguishing beautiful stones comes innately to her. After graduating ‘cum laude’ and a rigorous career in investment banking, she left for Paris in 1999 where she pursued an MBA specialized in luxury at ESSEC and design courses at Ecole du Louvre BJO, a move that was closer to heart.

Jeanne-Marie brings a modernly opulent style and a cosmopolitan flare to fine jewellery, beyond the fascination for simple form – into a universe of romantic allusions expressed in glamourous gold, vivid precious stones and forms that are often irregularly paradoxal, curvaceously seductive, and always pompously dramatic. Inspired by a hedonistic approach to creativity where art is free, instinctive, and beautifully unconditioned, Hedone Romane has introduced a fashion jewellery capsule collection, ‘Fantasy'.
