Jessica de Lotz

Artist, prop-maker and jewellery designer Jessica de Lotz impressed on a recent visit to Vogue House. The extraordinarily creative creature disguises her Art Deco bijoux within antiques collected from flea markets and vintage fairs. So, in Jessica’s covert hands, a Thirties door bell deconstructs and unscrews to reveal a beautiful black diamond ring” - Vogue.

Jessica was born in London in 1984 to a self-employed military bookseller and a dedicated mother of five. Spending weekends with her grandmother at car boot sales and antique fairs, Jessica developed an appreciation for aged objects and the stories of their owners, which has provided the inspiration and focus for much of her work. In 2009, Jessica was awarded the Coutts New Jeweller award. 2010 saw Jessica selected as a “Nexgem” in Professional Jeweller’s Hot 100 publication, Jessica’s narrative based jewellery collections are all lovingly made in England.
