Ordering & Payment

How do I place an Order online?

We are committed to ensuring that purchasing our fabulous jewellery is as simple and enjoyable as possible.

Please follow these simple steps:

  • Browse through our website, and fall in love with a simply divine item online.
  • Click on the image to view more information about the marvellous product.
  • Continue to Checkout to finalize your purchase and to make payment (all orders will be paid for in pounds sterling)
  • You will receive an email confirmation of receipt of your order as soon as the order has been processed.


Can I place an order by telephone?

Yes. We know that some people still prefer to talk! We love talking about all the products and if you would prefer to place your order by telephone, please call from the UK on 0845 055 7250 or from overseas on +44 (0)845 055 7250

We will be on hand to assist you from 9am to 6pm (GMT) Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

Can I order from overseas?

Yes. Either place your order online or call us on UK 0845 055 7250 or from Overseas +44 (0)845 055 7250. Your price will be show in pounds sterling, and the actual transaction on your card will leave your account in pounds sterling. The delivery charge for overseas is £18 to Europe, £25 everywhere else.



When will my order be processed?

As soon as possible. However, if your order has been placed outside of working hours, it will be processed on the next business day. Our office hours are from 9am - 6pm (GMT) Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). We will send you a confirmation email on receipt of your order.



What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Switch & Maestro. In special circumstances we can accept payment by BACS or CHAPS – Please note that we will be unable to dispatch your goods until payment has been received and cleared.

Please note, we may need to contact you to carry out security checks – If we are unable to contact you using the number given it may delay your order being processed.



When do you take payment?

Payment is deducted from your card immediately. The transaction will appear on your statement as 'Elizabeth Galton Studio Ltd'



Is it safe to order via the EG STUDIO site?

Absolutely. EG STUDIO takes security extremely seriously. We take appropriate physical, electronic and administrative steps to maintain the security and accuracy of personally identifiable information we collect. Our website uses encryption technology, such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), to protect your personal information during data transport to ensure that all credit or debit card transactions are completely secure. SSL encrypts ordering information such as your name, address and credit card number.

Every time we receive an order, we use fraud checking systems as well as authentication processes before we complete it.

We take all reasonable measures to keep your personal information, order and payment details secure.



Do you store my credit card details on your site?

No. We do not store details of credit or debit card information anywhere on our website.

Product Pricing & Currencies

Why don't you have the price in my currency?

EG STUDIO Ventures Ltd is headquartered in London and so all our transactions are in UK pounds sterling.



Do you charge Taxes and Duties on my order?

Our pricing includes VAT (sales tax) at the prevailing rate, of 20%. Orders delivered within the EU will be charged UK VAT at 20%

Orders delivered from outside the EU will have this deducted but may be required to pay import tax and/or local sales tax.



In what currency will I be charged?

EG STUDIO Ventures LTD will charge you in British Pounds (GBP).


Delivery Information

How can I track my order?

EG STUDIO will send you an email when your order is dispatched, containing a tracking number and link. You will be able to track your order through all stages of the delivery process.



What time will my delivery arrive?

EG STUDIO are unable to give an exact time of delivery - you will have a unique online tracking reference to follow your purchases from delivery from our showroom to your door. We will advise you by email on receipt of your order exact delivery dates and a guide is provided on the website. You need to make sure that the delivery address you give us is correct and accurate and that there is somebody to sign for and take delivery of the goods from the delivery service used.

What happens if there is no one there to accept the delivery?

Our delivery partner will leave a note with details on redelivery or pickup options.



How will I receive my order?

Your order will arrive beautifully presented in our packaging. All items are packed by hand by our experienced professional team to withstand the rigours of transportation.



What methods of delivery do you offer?

EG STUDIO ship in the UK with Royal Mail and Fedex.



Is my order insured?

All orders shipped to you are fully insured for loss, theft or damage. EG STUDIO expertly and carefully pack every item. We will pack and insure any items in transit to their destination. Items returned to us using our approved delivery partner are also insured.



How is delivery calculated?

Our delivery costs are calculated according to the size and number of items being shipped, and their destination.



Do I need to sign for my delivery?

Parcels will need to be signed for in person. Please do state a delivery address where someone will be present at the time of delivery (home or work) to accept and sign for your purchase. If no-one is available to receive your item; a card will be left offering you the option to have the item delivered at a later date; or collected from your local post office.



How are taxes and duties calculated for my country?

Each country places its own arbitrary amount of import tax and duties on individual items. In the case of countries that we ship to Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) EG STUDIO will calculate relevant charges and apply these to your order on an item by item basis. The final amount you will be charged by us includes all relevant Sales taxes and duties applicable for your order. In the case of countries that we ship Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) you may be liable for any applicable sales taxes and duties; that may be charged by your local customs authorities.



Is gift-wrapping available?

Yes. Gift wrapping is available for an additional £5.00 for each item.


Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy?

Most Jewellery items may be returned in original condition within 7 working days following receipt of the goods for a refund or exchange. Note that all items must be returned with the EG STUDIO security tags attached in their original state. You will be advised if an item is non returnable. 

Please note, that we do not refund custom sized Rings or Fine Jewellery marked POA,  Silverware, Glassware and Stationary. Jewellery items by the following Designers cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded: Salima Thakker, Hannah Warner, Hedone Romane, Kayo Saito and Jessica Poole. 



How do I return a product?

See our Returns Information. Please contact us +44 (0)845 055 7250 or email info@elizabethgaltonstudio.com and let us know the details including your name and order number. We will follow up with details of our returns process.



Can I exchange an item?

We are happy to exchange most items featured on the website.  However, please note, that we do not exchange custom sized Rings or Fine Jewellery marked POA,  Silverware, Glassware and Stationary. Jewellery items by the following Designers cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded: Salima Thakker, Hannah Warner, Hedone Romane, Kayo Saito and Jessica Poole. 
When contacting us, please advise the details of the exchange including relevant size and colour information.



Do you offer refunds?

EG STUDIO offers full refunds on selected items returned within 7 working days following receipt of the order. Note that we do not refund delivery or import duties.

Note that all items must be returned with the EG STUDIO security tags attached in their original state. You will be advised if an item is non returnable. 

Please note, that we do not refund custom sized rings or Fine Jewellery marked POA,  Silverware, Glassware and Stationary. Jewellery items by the following Designers cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded: Salima Thakker, Hannah Warner, Hedone Romane, Kayo Saito and Jessica Poole. 



Do you refund delivery, taxes or duties?

We do not refund delivery or duties on any order. We do refund European and UK VAT on all returns. Sales tax for all non EU countries is not refunded.

What benefit do I get from registering with EG Studio?

By registering for an EG STUDIO account you will gain access to extra tools to make your shopping experience quicker and easier. Once registered you will be able to:

  • Register for EG STUDIO's Newsletter to hear about the latest designer collections. You can amend your preferences to personalize the information we send you.

What do I do if I forget the password to My Account?

If you do forget your password (and let’s face it, it happens to everyone!), simply click on the 'Forgotten Password' button on the log in screen within 'My Account', and you will receive an email re-setting your password to a new one. Please note that once you have done this, we would advise you to log in and change this to a new password which will be more memorable to you. How can I create a Wish List?

Once you have registered an account with EG STUDIO, you will be able to save a list of your favourite jewellery for purchasing at a later date. When you find a product you like simply click on the ‘Add to wishlist’ button and the product will be saved to your list.

Yes. We have a showroom based in Central London.



What are your Opening Hours?

Our business hours are from 9am to 6pm (GMT) Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) by appointment only.

Please feel free to call us on 0845 055 7250 and make an appointment to view a collection, or to experience how a specific piece will look on you. We are based just off Soho Square in the centre of London and would be delighted to meet you in person and assist you with your jewellery shopping.



I saw a piece of EG Studio jewellery a while ago and now I am unable to find it on the website - what should I do?

Please call us from UK 0845 055 7250 or from Overseas +44 (0)845 055 7250 and we will do our best to obtain the piece for you.



What if I want my jewellery NOW?!

Call us from UK 0845 055 7250 or from Overseas +44 (0)845 055 7250. We understand that occasionally a special occasion demands immediate satisfaction! We will do all we can to try and assist you and to arrange Same Day Delivery or Next Day Delivery to your home or office that day. This service costs £20. If you live in the UK but outside of London we can still get the jewellery to you before 9am the next morning if you call us to arrange this.


Bespoke Service

How do I purchase a bespoke piece?

For Special Order or Bespoke items i.e. those that are made to order please call UK 0845 055 7250 or from Overseas +44 (0)845 055 7250. Bespoke orders are unique pieces and we will place a special order on your behalf and work with the Designer to ensure that it meets your requirements.



How do I pay for it?

We ask to have 50% of the payment in advance, with the balance being due once your jewellery is ready.



How long do I have to wait for a Bespoke order product?

Once the request for a bespoke order has been verified we will send you a written confirmation with an estimated delivery time. The order can then be processed upon receipt of payment. As the item is a Special Order, which we do not carry in stock, it cannot be exchanged or returned. We request that you reply to us via email to acknowledge and confirm that you are happy with these terms of the Special Order. Depending on the item, this may take between 4 and 8 weeks.

Is it possible to modify your jewellery so that it fits me perfectly?

Yes. At EG STUDIO, you can make a special request by emailing us at info@elizabethgaltonstudio.com. We will contact you if there is a small additional charge or additional delivery time associated with your request. You will have the option of cancelling your order prior to being charged.


About The Jewellery

Are the products pictured actual size?

Because computer monitors vary in size, it is impossible to show an actual size image on the Internet. We do however provide meticulous measurements.



How do I care for my jewellery?

To protect your jewellery from damage it should be stored in a fabric lined jewellery box or in a polishing pouch in order to prevent scratches and tarnishing.



Are chains included for necklaces?

Yes, unless otherwise noted in the product detail all of our necklaces and pendants are delivered with the chain shown.



Are the stones real?

Yes. All Products in the Fine Jewellery category are made with real precious or semi-precious gemstones. Where they are significant, stone weights have been included in the product descriptions. In the Fashion Jewellery category all materials are listed and are not solely limited to precious materials.



What is Vermeil?

Vermeil is a combination of Sterling Silver with a layer of gold on top. To be considered vermeil, the gold must be at least 10ct and be at least 1.5micrometres thick. Any other metal plated onto Sterling Silver cannot be called vermeil. Vermeil can be produced by fire gilding or electrolysis. Fire gilding is an antiquated process, however, and most vermeil these days is produced by way of electrolysis.



What is the difference between Fine Jewellery and Fashion Jewellery?

Our fashion jewellery is always on trend, the perfect place to look for precious jewellery for under £500. The collections are created using a variety of materials silver and vermeil (carat gold plate over sterling silver) and semi-precious gemstones. If you are looking for imaginative, on trend precious pieces at affordable price points this is the place to look.

Our Fine Jewellery collections feature a selection of pieces created by globally renowned designer jewellers who use rare metals and precious and semi-precious gemstones. We have a wonderful assembly of the finest jewellery collections in the world. Due to the valuable materials used in these pieces, these pieces are considered investment pieces ranging in price from £400 to £12,000 and the best place for collectors and connoisseurs to seek out heirlooms for the future.

How do I know I will be happy with my purchase?

We do our best to accurately represent our jewellery through the use of photos, product descriptions and measurements. We have met all the Designers personally and many are friends and collaborators of Elizabeth Galton herself. However, many items can be returned for a refund or exchange, for any reason, and on these items you have 7 days from the date of receipt to change your mind. Please refer to our refund policy.



I am a man and need help buying a gift for my girlfriend/ fiancé/ wife/ daughter/ mother (delete where applicable)! Can you help?
